Art and culture in Dalarna
Summer 2013
The course will be conducted in Japanese and English.

We make excursions in Leksand and the surrounding area to study how the Dalarna countryside way of life evolved from a historical perspective. We will visit pastures and old traditional Dalarna Farms, Falu Copper Mine, Zorn Museum in Mora and the artist Carl Larssons home outside Falun.
Beyond this we will also visit modern artists and designers in the surrounding area.
Total cost: 10.500 SEK in a single room or 9.500 SEK in a double room
including accommodation, meals, bus and museum fares and material for the course.
